What’s my “Hardiness Zone”?
Hardiness zones miss the mark when it comes to native plants. This metric only determines whether a plant (native, non-native, or invasive) will be likely to survive. Temperature is a key factor. For that reason, hardiness zones are not critical for gardeners who grow locally adapted native plants.
